Swedens biggest hiphopcommunity Whoa.nu is celebrating 10 yrs and they invited me and 3 other rappers to discuss its meaning for swedish hiphop and to us as artists!

“In this episode of Whoa-TV Pontus, Viktor and Martin from Whoa hooks up with Callecuttar, Mickelito, RMK and Elsa, four artists who started their careers on Whoa and who has follow and been a part of the communitys developement throughout the last 10 years. They discuss everything from postitive to negative things with Whoa to the phenomenon netcee.”

27th -29th of August, Hornstull will turn into a huge streetfestival with music, arts and food. There will be DJ-sets with Dj Viet-Naam, Will-Rock, Familjen Gloria & performances by Natural Bond among others.

For the first time since the collaboration on the track “Memories”, Elsa and Robert Valsinger is teaming up to give you a great show. You can see them on the stage “Verkstan” at 21.30 on Saturday!

Inspiration has been far away but is coming back to me. Right now I have about 4-5 tracks that I’m working with and hopefully I’ll record them before summer to be able to spread them to your ears. I’ll also contribute to the blogger DuVetIntes documentary on Swedish hiphop that be out within a few months.

Roger Bing has written a review of my record at Kristianstadsbladets website. It’s short but yet, a review. I can see what he means when he says that it’s sad that I need to point out that girls can rap, but if I don’t, who will? Since I have heard so many negative things about my music connected to me being a girl I felt it was time to  shed some light over it and question it!

However, I must disagree with Roger, guys constantly rap about how good they are, the difference is that their rap isn’t questioned because of their gender but rather by their skills.

The two rappers Mexxi and Si-Kret just released a massremix which I’m featuring! The track is called “Vi är klubben” and features George Kaplan and Rewind from Trainspotters, Ten-Brink, Format, Kung Henry, Format among others!

Urban is a hiphop radioshow and part of Studentradion 98,9. This week they gave my single “Girl in the game” the title “Song of the week”.
